What is a post-tension slab

Post-tensioning (or prestressing) is a process that uses high-strength materials such as cables to reinforce the structural elements of a construction. After casting, the strands in cables are tensioned at the appropriate pressure to apply a compression force on the concrete and increase its capacity.
This Technology is the preferred solution when it comes to thin structural elements. In addition, it promotes a faster floor cycle time, allowing the structure to progress more rapidly and buildings will be more earthquake resistant.
Bonded and unbonded post-tension system
Full ranges of tendon sizes of 0.5" strands and 0.6" strands.
Advance stressing jacks equipped with automatic stressing heads and power wedge seating devices.
Anchorage adaptable for both strand of 0.5" (12.7mm., 12.9 mm.) and 0.6" (15.24 mm., 15.7 mm.) according to standard ASTM A416 or BS 5896.
